How do upgrades and downgrades actually work?

Upgrades to Pro or Desk take effect immediately at the start of your next billing cycle; you are pro-rated for the remaining days. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle — you keep full Pro or Desk access until the period closes, then drop to the lower tier automatically. No phone calls, no retention queues.

What happens if I stay on the Free tier forever?

Nothing changes. The Free tier has been supported continuously since our 2017 launch, and no feature limits have been added in the last three pricing reviews. You keep full scanner access, the position-size calculator, and a daily quota on the options Greeks engine. The Free tier is not a trial — it is the product, on its own merit.

Refunds, billing cycles, and which card networks are supported?

Pro and Desk are billed monthly or annually; annual saves roughly two months. We support Visa, Mastercard, Amex, SEPA Direct Debit, and wire transfer for Desk subscriptions. Refund requests within the first 14 days of a new paid cycle are processed in full, no usage conditions, no clawbacks — email [email protected] and we handle it the same day.

Are there data-feed or seat limits I should know about?

Each plan lists concrete data quotas in the spec sheet above — number of concurrent scanners, options Greeks refreshes per day, exchange feeds, and saved backtests in StrategyLab. Pro covers the IBKR, Tradier, and Polygon.io feeds used by most retail traders; Desk adds CME, Eurex, and Binance Futures routing. Seats on Pro and Desk are single-user; multi-seat licensing for educators and coaches is handled separately — see the section above.
